Are there any positives to BFS
Personally I'm struggling here.

He is arrogant, smug and his brand of hoofball is utterly depressing.

Admittedly he isn't Avram Grant but not being somebody even shitter isn't really a positive.

The squad looks decent? That's all I've got

Big San is a spent force. Sussed out. The biggest problem we have is that the owners are ancient too and can't see it.

Someone reckons we have only won 2 out of the last 16?

Any other club would get rid before it's too late.

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
no
koeman showed him up as a total dinosuar yesterday
knew exactly how an allardyce team would try and play and tore us to shreds in the second half
allardyce had no idea what to do
he's a one-trick pony and the rest of football worked that trick out long ago
just compare their set pieces with ours - and that's supposed to be an allardyce strength
allardyce can't challenge the players convincingly to play a different system - he doesn't believe in it so why should they?
that's reflected in dire performances like yesterday

Wiill he's not out of his comfort zone as he's not doing anything any differently. The only difference is gs bought their own players so he has to pick them.

But he hasn't even attempted to play any more positively. Usual 4-5-1 yesterday and that cunt would call it a 4-3-3. Palace away he was forced to play Zarate as his love child got injured so the decision was taken out of his hands and it worked luckily from him.

Yesterday Southampton knew exactly what to expect and that clueless prick had absolutely no clue how to change things. Although the players didn't help as they were all pony apart from Kouyate and Cresswell.

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
I was in favour of giving BFS time to show that he could play a more expansive game but it's clear he can't. The only team we could beat with decent football was managerless Palace.

BFS clearly is way out of his comfort zone and will never play open expansive football. Not only does his mentality not allow him to do it but he doesn't know how.

Time for a change that will have to happen and the sooner the better...

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
Only positive i can think of is its the last year of his contract.

That football focus interview yesterday showed all you need to know about our arrogant out of date cunt of a manager.

Also having just seen hes post match interview, its even worse, blaming refs and players. He has disposal of probably our best squad of players for some time an that line up an non performance served up yesterday was fucking dog shit from minute one. Very much like last season all over again.

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
3 million to get rid of the fact cunt? My calculator says 30,000 home gate = 100 quid from each of us each and that's him paid off.

Or two home gates at 50 quid each and then pay the cunt off.

The dildo brothers then don't have to dig into their own pockets but we must agree with the selection of the next manager - by online voting - before he's given the job.

Simple - the supporters through the gate have a huge say in how the manager is appointed.

Job done..

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
That's the thing that I don't get about BFS, that his approach is essentially "tactical"/statistically rather than about playing good football, but he statistically gets those tactics wrong more than 50% of the time.

The 30% or so of times he gets it right he calls himself Allardyceinho , revels in his tactical mastery like a West Midlands meat market middle manager and says he should get the Real Madrid job.

Then in the 70% of times he gets it wrong it's because the implementation of his "right less than 50% of the time" wasn't done.

I think people are just confused by him because no-one wants to challenge the person speaking with the fake Bolton accent who is from Dudley.

I think he believes his own bullshit, and doesn't consider the possibility that Mourinho/Guardiola's team don't follow instructions to the letter all the time.

I actually think the team are overachieving given his dire tactics.

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
The only answer is to pay the cunt off whilst humiliating ( if possible)him.
A few million well spent.
He doesn't give a toss about West Ham it's not as if he looks like a worried man he's getting fatter and more arrogant after every game.A despicable individual.

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
Allardyce has taught me how to be a top flight manager and earn bundles.

Tell the media that you know how to play winning football (ironically for a man who loves statistics, that fact is statistically wrong) and on the odd occasion that you win say 'the lads played well today and executed what I told them to do well' (presumably he said 'go out and win the game') and when we lose tell the media that you told the team what to do (presumably 'go out and win the game') and they let you down.

Piss easy. Can I have my thee million quid now please?

Re: Are there any positives to BFS
The it takes time argument doesn't hold up when Southampton destroyed us with new players and a new manager.

Spurs had a new manager and beat us too.

We were beaten in pre season by teams who start in their league after us.
